There is not enough of this in the world today. Adding value to someone else’s life is one of the best ways to add value to your own. We’re all stuck on this rock together we might as well make it better for everyone we can, right?
Providing value is the best thing you can do today to start living a happier healthier life. Will smith in an interview told the reporter,
“If you’re not making someone else’s life better, then you’re wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other lives better.”
Just simple things that your mother may have taught you like, holding the door open for another person or helping an old lady cross the street. Just small things that make the world a better place to live in!
In order to do this, you have to begin seeing what it’s like in other people’s point of view. Realizing that they have their own problems and struggles and just like you they also want to be cared about. A simple gesture can make a huge difference in anyone’s life. A lot of times we get too self-involved and are unable to help anyone but ourselves, this can create the problem of living life in your own head. We need to stop this, get out there, live life and experience new points of view through the eyes of others!
All this does not mean to take other people problems on your shoulders, it means taking them into account and help them the best you can. Give others the insights you have, share with them the way that you deal with problems. People will start coming to you for help after a while, teach them ways to help deal with their struggles and deal with problems in their life.
Just walking by a stranger, smiling and saying a simple “Hi” can make someone’s day better. This can change the world greatly from such a simple gesture, stay positive and it will make everyone around you feel better. This in turn makes you feel better knowing that you have done something to make the world better for others. This is the best way to go through life, even when someone may come up to you angry, always treat them kindly and help start having a better day.

You can change the world one day at a time, starting with small steps. Start smiling more and instantly be a more pleasant person to be around. Start caring about others instead of only yourself and you will notice a difference in how you feel every day. When you go outside today say “hi” to at least one stranger or ask them how their day is going. Caring is what the world needs more of and only you can start, spread happiness.
